Onscreen Assessment
Pearson has led the way in onscreen assessment as the first awarding body to offer onscreen International GCSE and International A Level exams alongside traditional paper-based exams. So far in 2024 we have seen a five-fold increase in students choosing onscreen assessment and a tripling of the schools giving their students the option to take their exams onscreen. We are therefore continually adding to the qualifications and subjects available.
Remote Invigilation
This video-based service managed by Pearson invigilators is in live pilot phase with a small number of online school partners this year. It has already delivered over 1000 International GCSE results with high satisfaction levels from school, students and parents. For some students, attending a physical exam centre is not possible, and this new service allows us to reach any student, no matter where they are in the world, at this critical moment in their lives.
International GCSE Teaching Hubs
Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Teaching Hubs are the ultimate, end-to-end programme for teaching and learning excellence at International GCSE. Each subject course contains meticulous, step-by-step lesson plans created by experts, engaging media-rich resources, and carefully curated assessment tools, preparation, and practice - all in one easy-to-use digital platform.
Modular Assessment
Pearson Edexcel International AS/A levels (IAL) use the popular and flexible modular approach which mean exams are taken at the end of each unit of study, or throughout the programme of study. This flexibility, together with exam series in January, June and October, for most subjects, means that students have more opportunities to get feedback to improve their performance and get the grade they need to progress.

Onscreen Mocks Service
The Pearson Edexcel Onscreen Online Mocks Service is a service for International GCSE and International A Level exams. The onscreen mock exams are marked by Edexcel examiners and the results are uploaded to ResultsPlus, the powerful results assessment tool, for detailed question level analysis.

We offer a range of published resources to help you navigate the journey each of your learners will take, whatever their pathway, whether it be a UK, International, International Baccalaureate (IB). Many of our Student Books are available as print & eBook packs or standalone eBook.
