The Global Rights Licensing department handles rights on behalf of the UK, South Africa and Australia publishing teams. We manage both Educational (Primary, Secondary, Vocational) and Consumer titles.

BBC Active
BBC Active is a joint-venture between BBC Worldwide and Pearson Education. BBC Active combines the best of BBC television, with Pearson’s publishing expertise.

BBC Active (previously BBC Books) has a long experience of publishing in the Foreign Language Learning area, and has the biggest share of the market in the UK for language learning courses. BBC Active offers language courses in: Arabic, Chinese, French German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.
- English Language Learning
The BBC Active catalogue comprises new English language learning brands in an array of media such as print, audio, and DVD. The range of the BBC Active English language portfolio ensures that language learners of all ages and ability can learn English. For instance, the materials have been developed to suit self-study and home learning environments, and also to suit different ability levels across the segments of children, teenagers and adults alike.
