International School Awards 2021: the winning schools

For their student-led initiative Paradigm, to design and produce security necklaces for girls in vulnerable situations in Nepal.

Inclusion Award

Alice Smith School, Malaysia

For their student support peer programme involving older students.

Safeguarding Award

The English School, Kuwait

For their progressive child protection programme for BSME schools in Kuwait which involves engagement from parents and the wider community.

Teaching and Learning Award

Fairview International School, Malaysia

For their comprehensive framework that ensures consistency and sustainability of teaching skills.

Digital Teaching and Learning Award

Deira International School, UAE

For an effective artificial intelligence and analytics programme to actively support teaching and learning.

Wellbeing Award

International School of Kuala Lumpur

For developing PAW-sitivity, a virtual newsroom during campus closures for students and staff.

Student Pathways to Continued and Higher Education Award

British International School of Abu Dhabi

For their university preparation programme implemented during campus closures.

Environmental Award

Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket, Sweden

For their student-led initiative collaborating with external organisations to address sustainable technology challenges that’s making an impact on the environment and the world around them.

Ethical Values Award

Dulwich College Singapore

For their compassionate ethical and pedagogical systems framework developing students’ emotional literacy.

Strategic Leadership Award

Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong

For new pedagogies to support virtual learning with effective outreach and sustainability.

Future-thinking Innovators Award

American Community School of Abu Dhabi

For a multi-functional technology programme and learning space including a radio station, TV studio, robotics arena and more.
