Join us at this FREE briefing session as our officers from both Pearson School Qualifications and MEC will present about the subjects option for students, the exam timing and registration process. This session is open for both parents and students who are keen to register themselves as a candidate to gain an international certificate, or for schools/private centres in Malaysia who are looking to register their students for an international exam.

Mohammad Khairulanwar Rahmat - Examination Officer, Malaysia Examinations Council (MEC)

Born in Johor, Malaysia, he obtained a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu. He was awarded the Johor Education Foundation scholarships during his studies due to excellent academic record and involvement in co-curricular activities, especially in the field of English-language debate. 

He later furthered his studies in Bachelor of Corporate Communications at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Selangor, which was fully sponsored by Sime Darby Foundation. He graduated First Class and was honoured as the Valedictorian of the Department of Communication, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication. He is now pursuing his Master Degree in Art History and Cultural Management.

He commenced his tenure at the Malaysian Examination Council in April of the year 2017. Initially designated to the Social Science and MUET Division, his professional journey led to a transfer in December 2023 to the Division of Development Competency Management. His extensive tenure and varied expertise within the MEC render him the most suitable individual to provide insights on Pearson at MEC.
