Engaging lessons and students: How to teach EAL students

In this webinar, our panel of presenters will guide particants on teaching students who have English as an additional language. They will draw on their experience of using innovative and motivating techniques to support EAL students, so that they are able to realise their full potential.
By the end of the webinar, particants will:
- have explored some of the challenges faced when teaching a British-based curriculum to EAL students
- have explored some strategies to help overcome these challenges
- understand how to develop student/teacher relationships in an ELT classroom.
About the presenters
Sarah White - Sarah is an educational consultant specialising in teacher professional development and assessment. She was a Primary class teacher for nearly 30 years, holding many SLT roles and a Head Teacher in international schools. Following the completion of her MA in Education, Management and Leadership Sarah now supports curriculum development and writes and delivers professional development in the UK and internationally.
Alan Yeoman - Alan has worked in primary education for 30 years and has experience as a teacher, head teacher, local authority and national adviser. For the last eight years, he has worked as a freelance trainer and consultant, specialising in maths, science, ICT and online delivery.
