ActiveLearn Progress & Assess is a reliable, easy-to-use system to track students’ progress. It can work alongside your own system, will give you confidence in your data, helps you plan appropriate interventions, and saves you time.
Valuable time-saving tools on ActiveLearn Secondary
- Create a ‘playlist’ for your lessons to bring together all the resources you need, including the ability to upload your own resources or link to those found online.
- Set assignments, homework and intervention tasks to individuals, groups or the whole class with the click of a button.

How to buy
ActiveLearn Secondary resources are accessed through institutional subscriptions, purchased on an annual basis.
When you purchase an ActiveLearn subscription, the resources in that subscription are made available for all members of staff in your school. Teachers in your school can then register and organise their students on ActiveLearn, and provide them with student-specific resources (such as online courses and books).
Some online student resources can also be accessed using ActiveBook codes, which are individual single-use ebook codes included with physical printed books. An ActiveBook code is unique to the person who redeems it, and is not shared among other students or staff in a school like a subscription.
Subscription sizes
The subscription size you will order is determined by the size of your school, as listed in our system, based on the number of students you have registered.
- Small school is fewer than 100 pupils
- Medium school is 101–300 pupils
- Large school is 301–500 pupils
- Extra Large school is 501–999 pupils
- Super school is 1000+ pupils
