About our authors

Don DeRosa, Ed.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University School of Education where he teaches science teaching methods to elementary and secondary education pre-service teachers.

Joseph Abruscato is a former public school science teacher and Science Methods professor retired from University of Vermont. He has also written or coauthored a variety of materials for teachers and students including Teaching Children Science: Discovery Methods for the Elementary and Middle Grades, 3rd Edition and The Whole Cosmos Catalog of Science Activities.
