Core + HVACR, Level 1, combines two programs into a single NCCERconnect product. NCCER's Core program is required for trainees to earn credentials in most Level 1 craft training programs. Through the combined offering, you can complete both curricula in a single training year.
With NCCER Core, you'll gain basic safety knowledge and other key skills to perform in an introductory capacity on project sites. With HVACR, Level 1, you'll build level-one skills in installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
With the 6th Edition of HVACR, Level 1, the series changed from HVAC to HVACR to reflect coverage of refrigeration in the curriculum. New on-the-job case studies will prepare you for the scenarios you'll encounter in the field.
