Duane Brown is the author of 25 first edition books and manuals. Many of his books, including Psychological Consultation and Consultation (7th edition) have evolved into later editions, and he has published more than 40 books, including new editions, and 100 other chapters and journal articles. He has held professorships at Iowa State University, West Virginia University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has held part-time positions at the University of Vancouver, Gannon College and Drake University. Duane Brown’s consulting relationships included American Airlines, Barbados Department of Labor, and numerous community colleges, public school systems (NY, NJ, IA, WV, OH) and governmental agencies. He now does pro bono career and personal counseling. Past president of several organizations including the National Career Development Association, he is a fellow in NCDA and has received numerous awards including the NCA Ella Stephens Barrett Award and the NCDA Eminent Career Award.
