The seventh edition includes four new chapters on financial markets and their regulation, the investor’s perspective and renewable power, the political economy of India, and behavioral ethics. The book also includes 26 new cases for class discussion of timely topics.

New Chapter 11: Financial Markets and Their Regulation. This chapter examines the financial crisis of 2007-2009, the worldwide recession that followed, and the subsequent regulation.
New Chapter 13:  The Investor’s Perspective: Renewable Power. This chapter considers the non-market environment from the perspective of investors such as hedge funds with a focus on opportunities and risks.  The renewable power industry in the United States provides the context.
New Chapter 18: The Political Economy of India. This chapter considers the non-market environment of the world’s second largest country and a leading emerging market.
