Upper-level carpentry training, from a market leader

Advanced Carpentry: Frame and Finish is one of three total trainee guides making up NCCER's 6th Edition Carpentry series. In its latest release, the series moved from a four-level program to a two-pronged career path. It now consists of a base level (General Carpentry) and two specialized upper levels (Advanced Carpentry and Form Carpentry). The entire program still fulfills a four-year registered apprenticeship.

The 6th Edition homes in on skills for carpentry in building construction. It comprises nearly 300 hours of skills, covering competencies from site preparation and installation to thermal protection and finishing.
