Pam Kemp, Professor, Delgado Community College
Dr. Pam Kemp has been an RN for more than 35 years. She has an extensive background in clinical nursing in the private sector and as a Nurse Corps officer in the United States Navy. Although her areas of expertise are the Emergency Department and Critical Care, she also has significant experience in nursing administration. She works with nursing students individually and in groups to help them develop the tools for effective learning and success in the nursing program. Additionally, she maintains clinical competence by working part-time in a New Orleans area emergency department.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Louisiana Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International, Organization for Associate Degree Nursing, and Alpha Sigma Nu.
