Dr. Terry Austin, Temple College
Terry Austin is faculty advisor for General Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics. He's been a widely requested guest presenter at many national, regional, and local events over the years, specializing in Mastering®, Learning Catalytics, and Live Response. Terry has authored many assets in Mastering A&P (Marieb), helped create, and authored the original Video Tutor tools within Mastering A&P, and Mastering Microbiology (Bauman).
Professor Austin is from Texas and has been an instructor in the Biology Department of Temple College for 22 years. He served as the department chair for the biology department for over a decade of that time. He's obsessed with anything technological and loves implementing educational technology in his science classes. When Professor Austin has some time to get away, he can be found exploring the country with his lovely fiancé Peggie and their Golden Retriever Skye.
