Jennifer Cainas, University of South Florida
Jennifer M. Cainas, DBA, MAcc, CPA, is a clinical professor at the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy at the University of South Florida. Dr. Cainas primarily teaches Introductory Financial and Managerial Accounting, and Intermediate Financial Accounting. She is a member of the American Accounting Association, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. During her teaching career, she has taught and mentored over 15,000 business students and won numerous teaching awards at the college, university, state, and national level. Also faculty advisor for the Delta Gamma Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, she received the national outstanding faculty advisor award, sponsored by RSM, in 2013. She is currently a co-author of a managerial accounting textbook to be released in 2020. Prior to teaching at USF, Dr. Cainas served several Fortune® 500 companies as a practicing accountant specializing in financial reporting and analysis.
