How Revel Made It Easy to Take My Class Online

Join Professor Bill Brands of University of Texas at Austin as he explains the smooth transition of his history course to being fully online.

Bill Brands, University of Texas at Austin

I've been using Learning US History (LUSH) in my Intro US history class at the University of Texas for several years. This online text, with videos and quizzes, supported by the Revel™ platform, constitutes half the course work for students, and accustoms them to learning online. When UT went entirely online, it was simple to replace my in-class lectures with videos. The students still saw me twice a week, only not in person. They continued to work in LUSH, submitted additional essays online, and scarcely missed a beat. The transition was as smooth as could be.
