Join Professor Eric Schulz of Walla Walla Community College for a discussion on the soon-to-be released cloud-based Calculus interactive eText.

Professor Eric Schulz, Walla Walla Community College

In this session, Professor Eric Schulz discusses the soon-to-be released cloud-based Calculus interactive eText using only a web browser. The eText contains hundreds of interactive figures and requires no configuration or additional software downloads.

The interactive 2D & 3D figures in the eTexts are built to improve teaching and learning. They will save you time drawing and explaining concepts. The interactive figures help you engage students in deeper learning of the mathematics. By helping students visualize Calculus concepts, students are better able to understand, internalize, and retain these important ideas.

Our interactive Precalculus and Calculus eTexts have been available for years using Windows and OS X computers utilizing the freely available Wolfram CDF Player software. We are excited to announce the eTexts will be deployed using cloud-based technology to all devices, computers running Windows or OS X, Chromebooks, and mobile devices.
