Developing Primary Subject Leadership
We’re thrilled to have partnered with Reach Academy Feltham to bring you a brand-new self-study course on primary curriculum design. This course is split into 7 different units which will each focus on one of the seven key questions a primary subject leader should be able to answer in order to foster excellence in their subject. As this course is on-demand you will be able to complete each unit at a time and place that suits you.
The seven key questions
- How do pupils learn?
- What is the purpose of curriculum?
- How do you define and communicate the intended curriculum?
- How can curriculum materials support with implementing agreed aims?
- How should teachers enact the curriculum?
- How should we assess different curriculum areas?
- How can we support staff to develop their curriculum understanding and delivery?
