Pearson Edexcel A level Biology A & B: Maths for Biologists

This online event is designed for teachers delivering the Pearson Edexcel A level Biology A or Biology B specification.
Delegates will:
- improve knowledge of key mathematical concepts in the specification content
- discuss teaching approaches to help students develop mathematical skills
- look at specimen questions and mark schemes, to help interpret questions more accurately

Pearson Edexcel GCSE (9-1) Geography A and B: Identifying learning gaps and intervention strategies

This online event is designed for teachers who are delivering the Pearson Edexcel GCSE (9-1) Geography A or GCSE (9-1) Geography B specifications and aims to help you get your students back on track.
The course will cover:

Early Career Maths Teacher Essentials - Exceptional teaching and learning ideas and exemplar lessons

This session will explore what exceptional teaching looks like and what makes a great lesson.
We will cover the key characteristics of a successful lesson, effective use of the teaching assistant, how to build creative lessons and lots of teaching ideas and strategies that can be transferred to the classroom.
The session will be led by maths teaching expert Pietro Tozzi. You will be given the chance to interact with Pietro and ask questions throughout the session. You’ll also receive a bank of resources to support your teaching and learning.
