Michael Barrow is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Sussex, where he has taught economics, statistics and quantitative methods, as well as conducted research in the field of public economics. He continues his consultancy work for the UK government and other voluntary activities.

C. Rashaad Shabab is an award-winning teacher at the University of Sussex. He is a Senior Lecturer in Economics and the Business School's Director of Student Experience. He holds a PhD in Economics, specialising in household inequality, income risk, lifecycle theory and migration.
