On 2 March 2022 the DfE published the Post-16 Qualifications at Level 2 and Below Consultation. The consultation is open until Wednesday 27 April.
Alongside the changes to post-16 level 3 qualifications the DfE are looking to improve provision at level 2 and below. This consultation spells out their ambition to achieve this.
It follows a first phase Consultation which ran from March to June 2019 and a follow up Call for Evidence which ran from November 2020 to February 2021.
Do respond to the consultation if you would like to share your views on the future of Post-16 qualifications at Level 2 and below. We are currently working through the implications of the proposals and will share further details once we have them.
