Increasing student engagement with MyLab Statistics
Jelena Dorčić, Senior Assistant of the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management used MyLab® Statistics in a first-year Statistics course for the first time.
Jelena wanted her students to engage more with the course, as well as give them the opportunity to learn and practise at home.
She found that, by using the Study Plan, student engagement can increase. In the beginning, the students only tended to study for tests, but later realised that regular homework, like quizzes, tests, and the Study Plan, actually helped them prepare better.
