This free online workshop provides a yearly opportunity for instructors to come together and discuss the latest trends, developments and challenges in strategy teaching and learning.  

The 2024 workshop was also a chance to meet our new author Julia Hautz, Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Innsbruck, who joined the team alongside Richard Whittington, Patrick Regnér, Duncan Angwin, Gerry Johnson and Kevan Scholes. 

The author led sessions covered Teaching with Exploring Strategy, Publishing to make a Difference, and Research into Teaching (addressing topics on gender and strategy teaching, and pedagogy and practice).  

We were delighted to be joined by special guest speaker Dr Steve New, University of Oxford, who presented on Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Assessment. 

In addition, we welcomed our case team Clive Kerridge, Jason Evans, and Jocelyne Fleming, who discussed digital updates to case studies in 2024, as well as teaching cases in relation to Exploring Strategy’s three cross-cutting themes: sustainability, digital transformation, and not-for-profit.
