VQ Bulletin - Issue 36
Welcome to the latest issue of the VQ bulletin.
Welcome to Issue 36 of the VQ Bulletin. I hope that despite the ongoing disruption caused by COVID-19, your return to school or college has been without significant issues.
With the January series starting this week, we are aware that some of you may have questions about how to manage the BTEC assessments that are scheduled to take place, so I hope our previous update was helpful. Please be assured that we appreciate the challenges you may be facing at this time, so please do contact us if you need any further support. In addition, we want to thank you for your feedback on the support information provided, and as a result, we have made clarifications to when the use of remote invigilation is appropriate.
In this edition, as well as a reminder on how to manage absences over the exam period, we have included information on Thursday’s ‘U-TAG’ results day and appeals information.
We know that many of you will be incredibly busy with the start of the January series this week. As a result, we do not anticipate sending another VQ Bulletin next week, so that you can focus on your centre and your learners.
Did you know that we have a large selection of Knowledge Articles that have been designed to help Exams Officers and Quality Nominees? You can look through our most-viewed articles or use the search bar to help you find the specific information you’re looking for.
As always, you are welcome to contact us with any queries or concerns, keep informed by following @teachBTEC, where we will update you with the latest information, or access our FAQ page, which is updated frequently. Our social media is monitored from 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday and we welcome, and will respond to, any suggestions or feedback you have for us. You can also review past bulletins if you’ve missed any or sign up to receive future updates if you have not already done so, via the link at the end of this bulletin.
