For the past few years, he has focused on his textbook writing, research, and consulting and on giving lectures, seminars and courses around the world on modern human resource management methods, maintaining positive employee relations and employee engagement, strategic management, leadership development, and talent management. Dr. Nita N. Chhinzer is one of Canada’s leading HR strategy experts. She is a professor in human resource management and business consulting. She received an excellence award as the HR Woman of Distinction nominee in Canada (2023) and was recognized as one of the top Women Leaders by the World Leaders Forum (2022). As of 2024, she serves on four advisory boards: Canadian HR Reporter, Benefits Canada, Moneda Capital, and Healthpoint Medicine. She is also the president of the board of directors of the Toronto Centre for Learning & Development. Moreover, she is a highly sought after speaker of current workplace issues. From 2021–2024, she completed dozens of management consulting projects across North America, led 30+ executive development sessions, and was featured or interviewed in various media outlets (TV, news, radio) 200+ times on workplace issues. Her research is concentrated on strategic human resources management, with a strong focus on downsizing practices, procedures, and ethics.
