Pearson Store Terms and Conditions
Acceptance
In addition to the pearson.com/ca Terms of Use, and the Pearson Universal Terms of Service and End User License Agreement, these Pearson Store Terms and Conditions (collectively, “Store T&Cs”) set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the Pearson Store and apply to all products and services purchased or accessed through the Pearson Store (“Pearson Products”). Where purchased Pearson Products include Accelerated Pathways online courses, these Store T&C's further incorporate by reference the Student Enrollment Agreement, the terms of which apply exclusively to your use of Accelerated Pathways online courses. BY ACCESSING THE PEARSON STORE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE STORE T&CS.
Payment
You may pay for Pearson Products by using: (i) a valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or JCB credit card or debit card; or (ii) PayPal, each a “Payment Method.” You agree that your selected Payment Method may be charged by Pearson when you place an order for any Pearson Product. You agree to pay all amounts due for Pearson Products at the time you order them. All amounts are non-refundable unless otherwise noted in Shipping and Returns terms below. Confirmation of your order will be sent to the email address on file for your account, or the email address provided during Guest Checkout. You are responsible for all taxes and tariffs related to inter-country shipments. Pearson will collect and report federal, provincial and local taxes applicable to your shipping address, and charge such taxes to your Payment Method. If Pearson is unable to successfully charge your Payment Method for the full amount owed, you agree that Pearson may pursue all available lawful remedies in order to obtain payment.
Shipping Information
Shipping & Delivery
The default shipping method is Canada Post Ground. Your order will be processed and shipped within 2 to 3 business days as a standard for all available shippable products. You can expect your order to arrive within 8-12 business days from the date your order is placed.

Canadian Domestic Shipments
Canada Post Ground
Canada Post Ground, 6 to 9 business days. There is no charge for regular ground freight.
Express Delivery
Express delivery via Can Par Select is also available as an option. Can Par select offers delivery between 2 to 4 business days to selected regions within Canada. Remote postal codes outside major city centres may require up to 5 additional business days for delivery.
The charge for express delivery is $15.00 (Flat Rate).
NOTE: Can Par require a signature for delivery. Please ensure that someone will be available to sign for the delivery.
Pearson Canada reserves the right to choose alternate shipping methods for packages and documents to ensure timely delivery to its customers.
International Shipments
We regret that at this time we cannot deliver outside of Canada.
Back ordered Products
Back ordered products will ship when available. We will retain back orders for Out of Stock and Not Yet Published products for 30 days. Items that are not in stock will be available for sale 30 days prior to the expected due in stock date. Until this time, buy buttons will not appear on these titles. Please revisit our store closer to the expected due in stock date to order.
Bulk Orders
My Pearsonstore.ca does not accept orders in excess of 5 copies. Should you require more than 5 copies of a particular item; please contact our customer service department at cdn.ordr@pearsoncanada.com. We will be happy to assist you with your purchase.
Estimated Sales Tax
Pearson Canada is required to collect GST/HST for orders shipped to applicable provinces. Applicable tax will be added at the time of billing.
Returns
Physical Goods
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your book(s), unopened CDs, unopened DVDs, or unopened software, in resalable condition and with the original receipt, within 30 days for a full refund.
You can request this refund in the Order History section of your account. Following this, you will be sent an email with the next steps.
Products should be shipped prepaid via a traceable method such as UPS. Please enclose a copy of your original invoice with the item(s), and be sure to include your full name and address on the outside of the package.

Electronic Goods
eBooks, digital audio, digital videos or other digital goods cannot be returned for a refund. We do not offer a refund policy because it is impossible to return a digital product.

To request a refund for an online subscription please click the 'Return' button next to the product in your order history.

Except as permitted by these Store T&Cs, the distribution or redistribution by sale or other transfer of ownership, reproduction, modification, publication, adaptation or performance or public display of Pearson Products, in whole or in part, without the express written consent of Pearson and/or its licensors is strictly prohibited. If you become aware of any such misuse of Pearson’s products, or infringement of Pearson’s IP, copyright, or trademark rights you can report it here.
Unless otherwise indicated, trademarks, service marks, and trade names ("Marks") that appear in Pearson Products are the property of Pearson or its licensors. Any trademarks not owned by Pearson that appear in the Services are the property of their respective owners. You agree not to misuse or disparage any Marks associated with Pearson Products or use the Marks (or any confusingly similar marks) in such a way that would misrepresent the ownership of the Marks, or your relationship with Pearson, or otherwise confuse the public as to the source or origin of any products or services. You should not use any Mark without obtaining the written consent of the Mark owner, using appropriate notice and attribution of the owner's trademark rights, and using the Marks in accordance with applicable usage guidelines as provided by a Mark’s respective owner. Any such permitted use of the Marks by you shall be to the benefit of the respective Mark owner.
Requests to reproduce, translate, modify, adapt or perform or publicly display any Pearson Product or portion thereof must be submitted here.
Modification of Store T&Cs
Pearson has the right to change or modify the Store T&Cs at any time. Such changes or modifications shall be effective immediately upon notice, which may be given by means including, but not limited to, posting within the Service, or by electronic or conventional mail, messaging, or by any other means by which you may obtain notice. Any use of the Service by you subsequent to such notice shall be deemed to constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications. The most current Store T&Cs will be posted at the Pearson Store available via www.pearson.com.
Products and Pricing
Pearson reserves the right to amend any of its pricing at any time without prior written notice, and the pricing at the time of your purchase shall apply. Pearson, without any penalty or liability, reserves the right, at any time and without notice to you, (a) to publish or replace current Pearson Products with new, revised, or updated products at any time; and (b) to place any Pearson Product "out of print" or discontinue offering the product for purchase.
