How do I sign up for an Educator account?
The new Pearson.com allows for Educators to sign up for an account – which enables the ability to easily request examination copies, and access protected Instructor Resources.
To get started:
- Go to https://www.pearson.com/en-ca.html, and select “Sign in” in the upper right corner
- If you’re new to the site, click “Create an account”
- Select your role as an “Educator”
- Ensure that you’re using your institution email address to sign up – as this allows us to verify that you are an Educator. Only Educators are allowed to access exam copies and instructor resources.
- Complete the form, and you’re ready to go! Search for a title, and get access to the materials you need.
Created an Educator account, but the website still thinks you’re a student? Visit the page for any title, select “I’m an Educator” and navigate to the “Instructor Resources” section below – clicking the link to get verified, as illustrated below:

How do I get an Instructor Sample Copy of a title?
The best way to get immediate access to a title is at Pearson.com/en-ca.html. Search for ISBN or product. Once you are signed into the site and on the resource page, select “I’m an Educator” at the top of the resource image and “Request a Copy” under the Title Overview tab. Once you fill out this form, you will receive immediate access to an electronic copy of the title and can also request a physical copy if one is available. How do I get access to Instructor Resources?
The best place to find the Instructor Resources related to this title is at https://www.pearson.com/en-ca.html. Click here for a short video that provides instructions on where to find them.
To safeguard your courses and crack down on exam cheating, Pearson is adding protections for instructor resource files like Test Banks and lecture slides. These download limits, as well as discipline category restrictions.
If you have not yet logged in to Pearson.com and selected or need to change your Resource Categories, see the steps below for detailed instructions. You can change these categories by going to your resources categories and selecting edit.
How to select and edit categories in Account Settings
- Go to https://www.pearson.com/en-ca.html
- Click “Sign in” on the upper right-hand corner
- Sign in with your Pearson username and Password. New users, please click to create an account. New users may be asked for additional information to verify they are an educator.
- Once logged in, you will see your initials in a circle in the upper right-hand corner – click on that icon which will reveal a dropdown menu
- Within your account dropdown menu, Click on Account Details
- On your account details page, scroll down and find Your Resource Categories
- Click Add a Subject, a pop-up will appear
- In the Add a Subject pop-up, use the dropdown menu to select the subject
- When a subject is selected, categories will appear. Select a category (or categories) and save. You can change these categories by going to your resources categories and selecting edit.
