What it is
Pearson English 3-6 is a unique English program, with differentiated learning at its core. Aimed at primary years 3-6, it has been developed for the Australian Curriculum, helping children develop their English skills within a cross-disciplinary context of History, Science, Geography, Civics & Citizenship and Physical Education.

Student magazines
Engaging topics are explored in Fountas & Pinnell-aligned topics, alongside ‘Strands in Action’ sections in each magazine that include ‘Core Tasks’ and ‘Extra Tasks’ to help students apply their learning and thinking.

Fiction/non-fiction titles
One fiction and one non-fiction title per topic (eight per year level), offering quality age-appropriate literature that is aligned with Fountas & Pinnell text levels.

Teacher companions
One teacher companion is provided per topic (eight per year level), offering teaching sequences, student support guidance, structured learning pathways, EAL/D support strategies and activities, reading notes, assessment strategies and scope/sequence documentation for the Australian Curriculum to aid further learning.
