Our key qualifications
What is a BTEC?
BTECs are high-quality, career-focused qualifications grounded in the real world of work. BTEC courses focus on skills-based learning and are structured around themed units. This method helps you learn and use the skills that employers, colleges and universities want.
Apprenticeships allow you to work for an employer and earn a salary while also getting a qualification. You can learn important skills and gain experience in the workplace through an apprenticeship.
BTEC Higher Nationals are qualifications equal to the first two years of a university degree and recognised worldwide.
They are delivered at both universities and colleges in 60 countries around the world. They are an ideal choice for students seeking an affordable and relevant route to a degree or employment.
A T Level is equivalent in size to 3 A levels, but focuses more on job skills. It can lead to skilled employment, further education or an apprenticeship.
Each T Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days.

BTEC
"Being the only one out of 150 students in year 11 to undertake a BTEC qualification as part of an apprenticeship, was the best decision I could ever make."
"It was not just the knowledge that I gained studying BTECs at a variety of levels, but also the employability skills that have really helped me in the workplace."
