Hi there! Hypothesis test has only 2 sides. We use logic to decide the test.
H0 is written with =, ≥, and ≤. Even when using ≥ and ≤, we'll assume '='.
The null hypothesis uses < and > only.
We don't consider all three possible cases because we already have some info - We have collected data and have a mean, we are simply testing statistical significance by comparing our mean to the mean of 23.

Shouldn't the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis consider all possibilities? why H0 can be mu=23 and Ha can be mu <23 in the video?
