Everyone, welcome to GLB from Pearson Plus. My name is Jules, and I'll be one of your guides through our content. Our job is to help you understand concepts from a lecture so that you can ace your exams. I have my bachelor's degree in chemistry and I've been helping college students in chemistry for well over a decade.
And because of that, I'll be able to pass along insights and tips to help you succeed and excel this semester. In this GLB course, we'll talk about some common topics such as metric prefixes and their conversions, stoichiometry, dimensional analysis, nomenclature, and so much more. So Jules, how does this work? Well, we've developed this course to align with your class, and therefore you can use it with your textbook. You're going to watch our concept videos where we explain concepts, equations, and problem-solving techniques that you need to know.
We'll also be sure to include tips and memory tools so that you'll be prepared for your upcoming exam. We always make sure to do real problems within our lessons, showing you how we would solve them, helping you to build up your skill and confidence. Then you're going to track problems on your own. But don't worry, we'll be there right with you, explaining solutions to every practice problem as you go. If you ever need additional help, feel free to reach out to the team by asking a question in the comments and one of our tutors will answer you.
You're not just going to be watching. You're going to have a downloadable copy of every lesson and problem to write along and follow along with me, and then review later when it's time for your exam. When it's time to prep for your exam, upload your syllabus and Pearson Plus will use it to help you keep track of your progress, making sure you know when you're ready. We'll even generate customized practice tests based on the chapters covered in your class. So again, welcome to Pearson Plus for GLB.
We're super excited to have you here. And whenever you're ready, let's get started.
