Derivatives of inverse functions from a table Use the following tables to determine the indicated derivatives or state that the derivative cannot be determined. <IMAGE>

Identify the function f(x) from the table and locate the value of x = 1 to find f(1).
Determine the corresponding value of y = f(1) from the table.
Find the inverse function value by looking for the value of x such that f(x) = y.
Once you have the inverse function value, use the formula for the derivative of an inverse function: if y = f(x), then (f^{-1})'(y) = 1 / f'(x).
Check the table for the value of f'(x) at the x value you found in the previous step to compute the derivative of the inverse function.
