<v ->I hope you enjoyed your learning experience.</v> We covered a broad range of topics and a great deal of material. After getting R up and running, we explored the basics of math, variables, data types and functions. This led naturally into more complex structures, such as lists, matrices and data frames. We then learned how to get data into R. A good deal of time was spent on visualizing data all throughout the analysis process. Next up was controlling the flow of programs using functions, control statements and loops. This provided the building blocks for munging and manipulating data, including unstructured text. We then covered presenting data and results using knitr, Rmarkdown, HTML Widgets and Shiny. After that we went through the steps for building an R package, and then writing C++ code for faster performance. With all that you should be all set to start hacking away at your data.
