Pearson Readers are a great choice for all your students. Whether you’re looking for a classic, a contemporary story, a novel or an exciting tale, Pearson Readers have lots to offer.

This series has an incredible range of popular titles, authors and genres graded across seven English levels and correlated to the CEFR and Global Scale of English (GSE). Pearson Readers work best for English learners who will be reading on their own time: for fun, at home, in the park, on the train, on the beach, with a hot drink, during holidays or for the sheer pleasure of reading.

Pearson Readers are graded readers based on famous books, plays, short stories or films. Each book comes with a set of questions that can be used to check whether the student has understood the story. The questions relate to specific chapters and consist of activities to be carried out before, during and after reading.

A short wordlist is included, featuring English definitions of the most important words.
