Global Scale of English (GSE)
As an English language teacher, you need to effectively, and objectively, measure and monitor the English proficiency of your students. We've created a single standard measure to help you do that.

How does it work?
The GSE runs from 10-90, with clear statements about what a learner can achieve in writing, reading, listening and writing.
Learning objectives describe what learners can do at each level of proficiency.
Course materials have been developed using the GSE, so that you're using the right materials for your learners' level.
Assessments have been aligned to the GSE, designed to suit each stage. You'll be confident that your assessment content is appropropriate to your learners' levels.

The Global Scale of English solution
We've aligned teaching and learning materials and assessments to the GSE to help you to select the most appropriate resources.
