About our presenters
Stuart Connor
Qualifications and Assessment Director, Pearson APAC
Stuart Connor leads Pearson's Qualifications & Assessment across Asia. After teaching English for several years in Japan, he joined Pearson UK in 2004 as a subject advisor for Edexcel's language and humanities qualifications.
In 2013 Stuart relocated to Asia to support growth in Pearson’s international schools business. More recently he has led the English language assessment strategy for Pearson in Asia. Stuart is a graduate of Aberystwyth University, Wales and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
Kayo Taguchi
ELT Portfolio Manager, Pearson APAC
Kayo is an ELT Portfolio Manager for the Asia region based in Tokyo, Japan. She is an experienced ELT professional having worked in editorial and content development, sales, project management, localization, and business development.
She has also taught English in elementary schools and enjoys collaborating with educators across the region. Her work at Pearson aims to help teachers find stress-relieving solutions for the classroom and to support students in making visible progress in their learning.
